In response to the recent natural disaster that severely damaged the water tank infrastructure in Long Jegan village, we had committed to supporting the local community by donating 4 units of 900 gallons water storage tanks & 50 meter of 110mm HDPE Pipe to Long Jegan Village. On 22 December 2024, the delivery of all the required goods for Long Jegan folks have completed successfully. The villagers thanked Weida for the generosity and great efforts in making it through the challenging road conditions during the journey despite the constant rain.
The villagers, led by ketua kampung expressed their gratitude and appreciation to Weida Resources (Sarawak) Sdn Bhd, a subsidiary of WEIDA, for the generous contribution.
The donation of these water storage tanks & HDPE Pipe will not only restore access to clean water but also contribute to the overall well-being and resilience of the community in the face of such challenging circumstances.
