Donation of 33 units of Water Storage Tanks for Long Kerangan Fire Victims

On 6th March 2024, one of the villages in Sarawak named Long Kerangan was tragically burned to the ground, leaving 70 residents homeless and in dire need of support. As a company based in Sarawak, we deeply sympathize with the hardship faced by the Long Kerangan community.

In response to this devastating event, Weida Resources (Sarawak) Sdn Bhd, a subsidiary of WEIDA, have committed to donating 33 units of 400 gallons water storage tanks to assist the fire victims during their recovery. These tanks will provide essential support to the affected families, ensuring a steady and reliable supply of water for their daily needs during the rebuilding process.

Our company stands with Long Kerangan community and is committed to assisting them in overcoming this tragedy. Through this CSR initiative, we aim to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those impacted by the fire.
