Sar-Alam Indah Sdn. Bhd. a subsidiary of WEIDA was pleased to take part in the Sambutan Hari Ozon 2025 organised by the Department of Environment (DOE) in collaboration with various agencies and industry partners. The event took place on 27th September 2025 at Mydin Hypermarket Vista Tunku and was officiated by YB Datuk Dr. Haji Hazland Bin Abang Haji Hipni, Deputy Minister for the Ministry of Energy and Environmental Sustainability Sarawak (MEESty).
This year’s global theme, “From Science to Global Action,” highlights the essential role of science in driving informed policies, innovation and collective efforts to protect the ozone layer. It serves as a timely reminder that environmental stewardship must be grounded in research, yet translated into practical, scalable action.
At our exhibition booth, SAI engaged with members of the public to raise awareness on ozone protection and shared insights into how our work in environmental management aligns with global climate and air quality goals. We believe that long-term sustainability is only achievable through shared responsibility, backed by scientific understanding and community collaboration.
Sambutan Hari Ozon 2025 offered an important platform to connect, educate and recommit to safeguarding the planet. SAI remains dedicated to advancing environmental sustainability in Sarawak today and for generations to come.
